All My Tea!

Another adventure, different location... We have heard and seen many great things about All My Teashop so this was a wonderful addition to our list. It's a pleasant little cafe which made us feel like we fell down the rabbithole into our own adventure to join The Madhatter's Tea Party. The decor so subtle yet slightly whimsical gave a joyous rush to being there. Being small with limited seating it was great to see that we arrived at a wonderful time. Stepping up to the counter we were greeted by a lovely worker who greeted us happily. She explained that we're to order first and then take a seat so that the food and tea will be brought to us.

Oh! it was tea galore. At first glance it was an enigma to me with the various jars of teas and flavors. However, before I could even feel overwhelmed the lady came to our rescue. She first asked what our preferences were, in terms of green teas, fruit flavored teas, exotic flavors, and coffees. She brought down the jars and opened the bags for us to smell their fragrant aromas so we ourselves could make the choice. She explained the benefits of some of the teas and what the taste might be like. We much appreciated her taking the time to explain and show us the different aspect of the teashop; it made me realize how spirited she was about teas and the place. Finally we made our decisions! I chose the Autumn Mist green tea and Mich chose the Apricot green tea. Then it was time to choose our pastry. The baker came outside around that time to also help and explain what he whipped up for the day, just as pleasant as the lady that helped us choose our tea. I chose a Nutella croissant and Mich had an interesting baked type bread with seasoning. We took our seat near the entrance and waited. The theme was definitely meant to be quirky, for it had little silhouettes of Alice in Wonderland and quotes from the Mad Hatter. It may not be big but the feeling was there. It was not long before our teas arrived along with a sand timer. The waitress explained that the sand timer is used to let the teas seep for the perfect time which was approximately 3 minutes. The tea bag was meant to come out but depending on your preference you could choose to leave it in while drinking for a stronger taste which is what I did.

The cups were beyond adorable and the flavor of the tea was the perfect choice for us both. The pastries were heated and brought out to be eaten. I thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate and the crispy butteriness of the croissant and Mich very much enjoyed her savoury treat. We were reluctant to leave just yet so we ordered cold Matcha chillers: one chocolate and one normal. They were brought to us in tall glasses so there was more than enough to satisfy our cravings. The normal Matcha had a strong flavour which I could tell Mich throughly enjoyed when she exclaimed in delight. Mine was the perfect combination of chocolate and Matcha; not too sweet and not too strange, just to my liking.

All My Tea will definitely see our faces quite often for I am a lover of tea and I think I'm slowly convincing Mich to come over to the dark side. Mwuahahaha! I recommend this cute tiny tea shop to all tea-lovers and for those who wish to dip their toes into our world this is a great place to start! I promise you won't be disappointed.
